Cooking Steps
STEP 1/12
I always keep frozen squid in the freezer and use it. If you rinse the frozen squid in running water, the skin melts slightly first. If you peel it then, you can peel it very easily. The squid is frozen and only the skin is melted, so it's removed. Cut the cleanly washed squid into small pieces.

It's better to add a lot of chives. It's chives pancake. Rather than cutting it long, it's better to cut it into small pieces. Chop the cleanly washed chives into 1 to 2 centimeters long.

If you add a little bit of Cheongyang red pepper to the chives pancake, it's more spicy and delicious. It'll be spicy if you put in a lot, but if you put in two or three, it'll be more delicious chives pancake. Cut the cheongyang peppers into 4 pieces vertically and then chop them into small pieces.

Put the trimmed ingredients in a bowl and add a cup of flour. You can add frying powder or just use flour.

Put a cup of water in here. Squid also produces moisture, so if you add a lot of water, the dough gets tough and it's not tasty. It's better to add a cup of water to a cup of flour.

Add a few pinch of salt and make the dough. When you make chives pancake batter, it's better to mix it with your hands, and it's good that chives don't get softened.

Heat the frying pan over medium-low heat in advance, and cover with enough cooking oil.

Spread the dough thinly. Keep the heat medium to low from start to finish. It's hard to cook because I wash my hands. And it's not crispy.

If you feel that the dough on the top is a little dry, turn it over. If you pour a bit of cooking oil on the top, both sides will be cooked crispy. If you turn it upside down while it's dry, the dough will not be crispy.
