How to never fail to make strawberry jam with frozen strawberrie

Cooking Steps

Please defrost the frozen strawberries.
STEP 2/10
When the strawberries melt, mash them hard. It's good to grind in a blender, but I like to chew grains, so I crushed them like this.

Please check the amount of crushed strawberries.
The reason is to determine the amount of sugar.
STEP 4/10
Add sugar as much as the amount of crushed strawberries.
I reduced the amount of sugar to make it slightly less sweet. But it's sweet enough.

Mix mashed strawberries and sugar.
STEP 6/10
Bring it to a boil.
STEP 7/10
Remove any foam and add 1 to 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. It adds a sour taste and makes it easier to store.

Bring to a boil while stirring, and turn it down to low heat when it becomes starch syrup-like.
STEP 9/10
And please check the concentration. If you drop it in cold water and mix it with water, it's not done yet. If it does not spread like the picture and maintains the identity of strawberry jam in the water, it is an appropriate concentration.
Finish it as soon as the concentration is complete. If you boil it for too long, the color won't look pretty. And if you boil it until it's too thick, it gets harder than you think after it cools down, so it's hard to eat.
Remember that it is heavier than water and lighter than honey when you spill it with a spoon!

You can store it in a sterilized glass bottle.
If you want to keep it longer, it's great to put it in a silicone ice mold, freeze it, take it out one by one, and defrost it.
When you boil strawberry jam, you have to finish it when it's slightly watery. After it cools down, it becomes hard and it can be hard to eat. "It's heavier than water and lighter than honey"^^
