Rinse it in running water once and remove the water with a kitchen towel.
It was a bit hard for reproduction, so there wasn't much moisture.
For steak, you'd better use savory, hard, and less hydrating tofu.

Grease a frying pan with plenty of cooking oil and bake tofu.
In this case, cook over medium heat until golden brown.
If there's too much moisture, oil will splatter, so be careful.

Slice onions and carrots for steak sauce thinly.

When the bottom is golden brown, turn it over and cook the other side until golden brown.
The ingredients themselves have more moisture than other ingredients, so it takes longer than I thought to bake them.
And don't turn it over often because it might break, and if one side is really golden, change seats and bake the other side.

When all sides are browned, place on a plate for a while.

Melt the butter in a pan and stir-fry the sliced onions and carrots
Stir-fry the onions on medium heat until they are soft and clear so that they don't burn.

When the onion becomes transparent, add 2 tablespoons of pork cutlet sauce, 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup, 1/2 tablespoon of thick soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon of vinegar, 1/3 tablespoon of sugar and 1/3 cup of water and boil it over medium heat.

When it starts to boil, reduce the heat to medium and boil it down until the desired concentration comes out.
When you make steak sauce, if it boils down too much, it gets salty, and if it cools down, it gets more concentration, so boil it down moderately.

Place grilled tofu on a plate and add some young leaf vegetables.
Put the sauce together.
Other than that, you can make up other vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, etc. with garnish.

Pour the sauce over the tofu steak deliciously.
It's not much of a plating, but it's good if you make it look pretty and nice.
It's not meat, but you have to cut it with a knife like steak.
The outside is crispy and chewy, and the inside is savory and soft.
It goes so well with the sauce and it's grilled on all sides, so you'll make a mistake to enjoy diet tofu because it has a chewy texture like meat.
