I mixed water 800: sugar 400: vinegar 400 and boiled it with a spoonful of pickling spice and half a spoonful of salt.

Bring to a boil over high heat and bring to a boil over medium heat, cold and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Transfer the cut vegetables to a glass bottle container and pour in the sweet vinegar.
