STEP 1/12
1. Material preparation
STEP 2/12
Soak rice in water the day before. Since I like rice, I think I'll drink water thinking it's milk^^
I want to cook rice and mix it with the chives sauce.
STEP 3/12
2. Preparing Octopus (Frozen Octopus)
- Cutting the body of an octopus long with scissors
- Remove the body from the inside by hand and cut it with scissors
- Cutting eyes with scissors
- Turn your leg upside down and take it off with your mouth hand. (If you press down on the bottom of your mouth with your thumb and index finger, it comes off.)
STEP 4/12
3. Add half a tablespoon of coarse salt and rub it like washing it with your hands
- Rinse thoroughly
Tip. You have to rub frozen octopus with salt to make it more chewy.
You can use flour for small octopus.
STEP 5/12
4. Squeeze the soup out and chop the kimchi into 0.3cm thick pieces
STEP 6/12
5. (Optional) Add ingredients for shredded kimchi kimchi seasoning and stir-fry it on fire for 2 to 3 minutes (You can mix it well without frying it)
STEP 7/12
6. Put the soaked rice and water in an earthen pot, close it, and boil it over high heat
STEP 8/12
7. Stir the spoon evenly to the bottom when it boils
STEP 9/12
8. Reduce the heat to low, put bean sprouts, kimchi, octopus, cover it with thick and cook rice for 8 minutes
9. Turn off the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes
STEP 10/12
10. Making chives sauce while you wait
- Cut the chives into 0.5cm pieces and chop the chives
STEP 11/12
11. Mix the rest with the sauce
STEP 12/12
12. If you add the boiled rice and the chives sauce, the octopus kimchi bean sprout pot rice made of Chamdream rice is complete!
- After eating it, each grain of rice is alive, soft, savory, and glossy. I quickly finished a bowl^^
- You can add or subtract the amount of sugar depending on how the kimchi is cooked. (Adding sugar will make it sour.).)
- The cooking time can vary depending on the earthen pot and the environment.(I'm based on the gas stove.)
