How to make radish salad ft. purple radish
I have a purple radish that my in-laws farmed. I've never seen purple radish before, so I was a bit confused about how to make it, but it's so delicious to make radish salad just like regular radish. Purple radishes contain a lot of anthocyanins, which is good for eye health. It doesn't have a lot of ingredients and it's simple, so make sure to try it. ^^

  • Sugar

  • plum extract

  • Red pepper powder
    1/2cup
  • Salt

  • Radish
    800g

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/4
Add half a paper cup of red pepper powder and a teaspoon of salt to the shredded radish.
STEP 2/4
Add 1.5 tablespoons of minced garlic, although slightly pickled in red pepper powder and salt.
I put 1 tablespoon in the picture, but I added 1/2 after tasting it.
STEP 3/4
Add 1.5 plum extract and 1 sugar and mix.
Slice 1 green onion thinly and mix.
The order of the seasoning ingredients doesn't matter much.
STEP 4/4
Add sesame salt and finish.
My recipe doesn't make it salty from the beginning. I started with 1 tablespoon of salted shrimp, but I added 1/2 because it didn't taste as good.
If you don't have salted shrimp, use other fish sauce. There are likes and dislikes of salted fish, so I recommend you to increase or decrease it moderately. ^^ You can make the sauce separately and mix it, but it's hard to turn it back when it's salty, so it's better to start a little bland from the beginning.
