White pickled radish

Ingredients
  • Radish
    500g
  • Water
    200ml
  • Vinegar
    100ml
  • Sugar
    5T
  • Salt
    1T

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/6
Cut the longitudinal side of the radish into 8mm thick pieces as long as the length of your finger
STEP 2/6
Add 1T of salt and season evenly and marinate for about 2 hours
STEP 3/6
Pickled radish becomes soft enough to bend easily. Please throw away all the water from the radish
STEP 4/6
Boil in a pot with 200ml of water, 100ml of vinegar (or 100ml of lemon juice), 5T of sugar, 1/2T of salt. Turn it off as soon as it boils and stir it. All the sugar will melt
STEP 5/6
Pour all the radishes right into the freshly boiled sweet vinegar water, which has also melted sugar. Leave it until it cools down
STEP 6/6
When it cools down, place radish and sweet vinegar water in an airtight container. You can keep it in the refrigerator and eat it 24 hours later. Boil the sweet vinegar water 3 days later, cool it down, and put it in for a month
