STEP 1/8
Pour 1 cup of oil into a microwave-resistant container and add 2 tablespoons of red pepper powder
STEP 2/8
Mix the red pepper powder well and mix 1 tablespoon of chopped green onion and 1 tablespoon of crushed garlic evenly. Spicy vegetables improve the scent and control the fishy smell of the ingredients
STEP 3/8
It goes like this
STEP 4/8
Put it in the microwave and heat it for 1 minute. And then cut it off and turn it back for 30 seconds, and turn it back for 30 seconds for a total of 2 minutes. That is, one minute, 30 seconds, 30 seconds. If you heat it for two minutes at a time, the oil boils and overflows.
STEP 5/8
It's chili oil that's been boiled for 2 minutes. It's hot, so be careful. I took it out of the microwave and it keeps boiling.
STEP 6/8
Let stand for 10 minutes. Then it comes out much better
STEP 7/8
The color got a lot darker after 10 minutes
STEP 8/8
Put a coffee filter in the net and put the pepper oil down. It doesn't take as long as I thought and comes down well. The amount of chili oil is only 1 cup
1. Olive oil is bad because it has a unique scent, and it's bad because it has a low smoke point. Other than that, cooking oil, canola oil, grape seed oil, etc. are all available. You all know that perilla oil and sesame oil are not allowed, right?
2. If you use fine pepper powder, it comes out better. Grind regular pepper powder in a grinder. I used the regular pepper powder as it is.
