Making pickled plum
I went to an acquaintance's house in Eobiri, Yongin, and made pickled plum. It was just amazing that everything from picking from trees to putting them in pots went through my own hands. As is well known, plum is an alkaline food that has excellent detoxification and is effective in preventing anemia, menstrual irregularities, and osteoporosis in women due to its high calcium content.

Cooking Steps

Plum picking: Since the thorns are sharp, you must wear gloves to pick them

The basket is full.

Preparing to Wash Plums: Now you have to wash them.

Washing plums: Put them in a large basin and wash them by rubbing them with your hands

Sprinkle salt: Sprinkle the washed plums with salt gently.

Sieve: Sieve the salted plums about 2 hours later and drain.

Seed Removal 1: Cut the knife into pieces and remove the seeds.

Seed Removal 2: Another way to remove the seed is to cut it with a cross and tap it slightly with a hammer. But it's hard because I think hitting with a hammer will hurt the plum, but I usually cut it with a knife.

Potting: Plum in a well-ventilated pot. It would be nice to put it in a big glass bottle at home, right?

Sprinkle sugar: Add plum and sprinkle sugar alternately. Put the lid on and leave it in the shade and let it to ripen for about a month.
1. It's for many people, so I put in a lot. The ratio of plum to sugar is 10:3. The amount of salt is 1/50 of the amount of plum. 2. If you chop the finished plum pickles finely and put them in fried tofu rice balls, it has a refreshing taste. 3. If you mix it with red pepper paste, it can be another taste of pickled vegetables.
