  • glutinous rice flour
    5cup
  • Salt
    1TS
  • Castella
    5ea
  • Water
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/13
Prepare 6 bananas, 5 castella, and 5 cups of sticky rice flour paper.
STEP 2/13
Put only 4 bananas in a bowl and mash them with plastic gloves on.
STEP 3/13
I'm going to put the other two inside, so I cut them into bite-size pieces.
STEP 4/13
I mashed it with a bit of texture.
STEP 5/13
Add glutinous rice flour and salt to the mashed banana and mix it gently with a spoon.
STEP 6/13
Next, finish the dough with your hands.
STEP 7/13
When the dough is done, remove each lump, then add the sliced bananas and wrap them in a round shape.
STEP 8/13
1st round completed ^^
STEP 9/13
Please make it into a powder called castella
If you make it into powder first and knead it, it will be completed faster.
STEP 10/13
Put it in boiling water and bring it to a boil.
(When it starts to cook, the dough floats on the water. I boiled it for about 7 minutes and it was cooked well^^)
STEP 11/13
I put the dough out of the pot in the prepared ice water (it gets more chewy).
STEP 12/13
Dress the surface with the powdered castella^^.
STEP 13/13
Finished~^^
