STEP 1/9
First, I cooked the fried tofu rice balls and started trimming the ingredients. Slice the onion thinly and soak it in water to remove the spicy taste. Soak the onions in water for about 30 minutes and then remove the water.
STEP 2/9
Please steam the crab meat thinly.
At first, I cut it into three pieces and then tore it thinly, but it was rather troublesome. Don't cut the long crab sticks and tear them thinly.
STEP 3/9
Open the fried tofu and remove the water.
Fried tofu is thin and tears easily, so you have to press it lightly to remove the water. If you remove all the water from the fried tofu, it will not taste good, so please remove it a little bit.
STEP 4/9
Mix mustard, mayonnaise, minced pickles, crab sticks, and onions in a bowl and the crab salad seasoning is complete!
I strongly recommend the minced pickle from Heinz Sweet Relish. It's also very useful when making hot dogs
STEP 5/9
If you season it with a little salt and pepper according to your preference, the more delicious crab salad seasoning is completed.
STEP 6/9
The cooking is done while making the crab salad seasoning. Add the seasoning (flake + vinegar) from the fried tofu rice balls and season the rice for the sushi.
STEP 7/9
Spread the fried tofu one by one and put in the seasoned rice only about two-thirds of the fried tofu :)
Usually, fried tofu rice balls are filled with rice, but crab salad fried tofu rice balls are filled with only 2/3 of the rice and leave a little space on the top.
STEP 8/9
If you fill the fried tofu with rice and put the crab salad seasoning on top, the delicious crab salad fried tofu rice balls are easily completed.
STEP 9/9
Groom's morning lunch box is complete :)
I couldn't take pretty pictures because I was pressed for time. After putting crab salad on top, sprinkle sesame salt mixed with black sesame seeds on each fried tofu rice ball to complete the really pretty crab salad fried tofu rice ball.
