If you defrost the frozen raw chestnuts without defrosting 2kg + 180g in a generous pot, water will be generated, so I put them in the pot right away. And pour 7 cups of water and boil it over high heat, reduce it to medium to low heat.

When the chestnuts were cooked, they were crushed with a ladle's butt. If you don't like chestnut grains, grind them finely with a blender, and if you don't want to mix them like me, you can crush them with a ladle or wooden spatula to make them alive. When you put it in yogurt, it's good to chew the grains. It's my personal preference, of course. If you boil chestnuts and mash them, the water may decrease a lot. Don't panic then. If you add sugar, it becomes round as if you added water.
Chestnut jam is more delicious if you put it in homemade plain yogurt than spread it on bread.
