STEP 1/9
First, put some soy sauce on top of the water, and when the water boils, add glass noodles and boil it. If you add a spoon of cooking oil, you can prevent swelling.
STEP 2/9
Prepare the vegetables in the japchae as they are at home. I cut carrots, onions, green peppers, red paprika, and fish cakes.
STEP 3/9
Add a little bit of oil to the shredded ingredients and stir-fry it with 1/3 cup of water, so you can use less oil and stir-fry it. I stir-fried it with a little bit of pepper and salt.
STEP 4/9
I added water and stir-fried it, and I think it's good because it's light.
STEP 5/9
Cut kimchi and stir-fry it slightly with sugar and sesame oil. You can stir-fry it as if you're dripping water.
STEP 6/9
Spread the stir-fried ingredients in a bowl and cool them down.
STEP 7/9
Cut the glass noodles into bite-size pieces and add 2sp sugar, 2sp soy sauce, 1sp oyster sauce, sesame seeds, and sesame oil.
STEP 8/9
You don't need to wear plastic gloves, but if you stir it with chopsticks, it mixes well.
STEP 9/9
Kimchi japchae is done.
If you add soy sauce and cooking oil when you boil glass noodles, it looks good because the noodles get watery and don't get swollen.
