Sihong's Chaojidan, Chinese tomato egg stir-fry
A simple Chinese home-style dish made by stir-frying tomatoes and eggs, Sihong Suqiaojidan!

Ingredients
  • Tomato

  • Eggs

  • Water
    1-2T

  • Cheongju

  • Sugar

  • Salt

  • ground pepper

  • Sesame oil

Cooking Steps
STEP 1/8
Cut tomatoes into wedges. Cut it into 8 to 12 pieces per piece.
STEP 2/8
Add 1t of refined rice wine and 2-3 pinch of salt and mix well.
STEP 3/8
Heat the pan with 1T oil and pour the beaten egg
STEP 4/8
Cook immediately with a spatula or chopsticks, stirring. Don't cook it too well and finish it with moisture.
STEP 5/8
Transfer scrambled eggs to another bowl, add 1T more oil, and stir-fry minced garlic to create a flavor.
STEP 6/8
Add tomatoes and stir-fry, then add 1T of water and sugar and continue to stir-fry. If tomatoes produce a lot of water, you don't need to add water, but if there is not much water, add 1-2T. Season with salt and ground pepper.
STEP 7/8
Add a few drops of sesame oil and mix them together!
STEP 8/8
Transfer to a bowl and serve with chopped green onions.
