Ingredients
  • Rice
    5serving
  • black beans
    1/3cup
  • Water
Cooking Steps
STEP 1/6
Beans are soaked overnight by adding 7 to 8 times more water.Wash thoroughly three or four times.
STEP 2/6
The first water of the rice has a lot of foreign substances, so throw it away quickly, wash it with your hands, and rinse it three or four times.
STEP 3/6
The amount of water in rice varies depending on whether it is newly harvested or old, but ordinary rice contains 1.2 times more water. Pour water about 2cm from the height of rice than 1.2 times, and it fits perfectly. Put in the soaked beans. Close the lid like this and let stand for 10 minutes. Soak the rice.
STEP 4/6
I put it on the gas stove and close the lid so I don't open it once. Turn the heat to low from start to finish.
Usually, when you cook pot rice, it's in the order of high to medium to low heat, but in this case, the rice can overflow and you need to pay attention to controlling the heat. However, the advantage is that the rice does not boil over low heat, and the rice is made quickly and rarely undercooked.
STEP 5/6
Rice with beans is done. When the rice water is gone, turn off the heat and leave it for 10 minutes. Then, the ceramic pot has the effect of steaming because the temperature does not go down well due to its good warmth.
STEP 6/6
If you want to make nurungji, keep it on low heat for about 15 minutes even when the rice water is gone. Mix the beans and rice well and scoop it out, right?
Black beans are in the spotlight as a healthy food as they have four times more anti-aging ingredients and are known to be effective in preventing adult diseases and dieting. It also contains cysteine, an essential ingredient for hair growth, which is effective in preventing hair loss. It is recommended that the amount of water rise 2cm from the height of rice.
