I use onions, kimchi, potatoes, and green onions

When the soup starts to boil, add onions, potatoes, and kimchi and boil it until the soup is reduced by half

The soup gets salty. Add minced garlic, green onions, and 1 spoon of red pepper powder, stir-fry it, and add a bit of perilla oil
Prepare the ripe kimchi in equal portions with the potato.
