Prepare three slices of bread. Bread is sugar-free.

Prepare sliced cheese and sliced ham.

Place a slice of bread on the cutting board, sprinkle mustard sauce, spread evenly, and top with sliced ham.

Place sliced cheese on top and cover with bread and spread mustard sauce again.

Place sliced ham and sliced cheese on top and cover with the rest of the bread. I didn't cut off the edges of the bread and used them as they were.

Break the egg into egg water and coat the six slices of bread with sliced ham and sliced cheese evenly.
STEP 7/9
Grease a heated frying pan with cooking oil and bake 6 sides of bread until golden brown. If you grill it like this, it'll be less oily than frying it.
STEP 8/9
Lay parchment paper on the cutting board, place the baked bread, and cut it diagonally.
STEP 9/9
Place the Monte Cristo sandwich on a plate and serve with milk.
