Cooking Steps
STEP 1/5
Peel the lotus root, cut it into bite-size pieces, and blanch it in water with thick salt.
STEP 2/5
Remove the blanched lotus root from the basket.
STEP 3/5
Add cooking oil and stir-fry lotus root and add 3 tablespoons of soy sauce.
STEP 4/5
Add 3 tablespoons of sugar and stir-fry again.
STEP 5/5
Add 1 tablespoon of cooking wine and stir-fry it and sprinkle sesame salt at the end. When you make it as a side dish, you can stir-fry it with a little bit of sesame oil.
It's crunchy because it's made without water.
