In Jeolla-do, we use yo-yo raw salted seafood soup a lot when we make kimchi.. Some people who live on New Year's Day don't like the scent of salted fish.. Since I lived in Yeosu for a long time, the deep taste of kimchi comes alive only when I have to eat it with anchovy sauce. It is very delicious to eat it with ssamjang with only the soup on top.. If you don't have raw salted fish soup, you can use it as a commercial anchovy 6 or sand lance extract..
